Europacamping Nommerlayen, Friday 22nd July

This morning, we got up at 8 o’clock and we went to the Miny Market again to get breakfast. At 9:30, we started our day with the Miny Club. Today, the theme was ‘Animals/ Zoo’ so the children made animal masks. At 10:45, I went outside with Janou to help her decorate the podium for ‘Wedden dat…’, which unfortunately didn’t take place because the weather. We made a new craft for the next day, and then we had lunch. At 14:00 we had our next activity which was ‘schminken’, I made a panda, a dog, a flower and a heart. At 15:15 we were finished cleaning up and we had a break. At 17:00 we got diner at the ‘Nommerlayen snackbar’. We both got a chickenburger and later we also got noodles. Later in the evening we heard that this was a good choice because the finer that the rest got wasn’t nice at all. At 19:00, volleyball for 14+ and the mini disco started. I went to the volleyball activity and Fleur went to the mini disco. We stopped a little early because the very very heavy rain. Fleur stayed behind in the mini disco for another hour. Just before we went to the caravan we took a final picture with the animation team. When we arrived at the caravan, the thing we were afraid of, became reality. A part of the bed was totally soaked and our pillows too. Overall, the internship has been great fun and it was awesome that we were allowed to work with such a great and enthusiastic animation team. The experience was awesome.
